Research

Adam is a Ph.D. student currently researching the solid-state mechanics of metals printed from additive friction stir deposition, with an emphasis on fracture mechanics in the deposition-substrate interface. He specializes in mechanical testing and characterization of metals. Adam has interned at Lawrence Livermore National Lab researching laser powder bed fusion of multi-material parts.
