Research

    Donnie is primarily researching incorporating shape-memory ceria-doped zirconia ceramic particles into metal matrix composites using additive friction stir deposition. His work focuses on examining the extent of the phase transformation of the zirconia within the metal matrix due to applied mechanical stress. Donnie’s research interests include ceramic processing and materials characterization.
